About Peter Webber Services

'A qualified youth worker with 30 years experience in  both voluntary and statutory sector services in the Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch area'

My name is Peter Webber I am a qualified youth worker with 30 years experience in both voluntary and statutory sector services in the Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch area.

I am a very enthusiastic worker with a proven track record of working competently, safely and professionally with children and young people of all ages and backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities.

I've worked in many different  youth projects and have developed programmes of targeted youth  support including mentoring, one to one support and developing self-esteem and confidence. Over the past six years I have been working with children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse, helping them to understand how their emotions can affect them and enabling them to move on with their lives. I have also built good working relationships with other agencies in order to maximise resources and enhance programmes to give young people more choice.

At present I have secured a contract from Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council to work in these areas on their behalf. I have recently published a booklet: 'My Mixed-Up Emotions And How To Understand Them' aimed at children of primary school age.
